I am bun

i am doing this special extra report from the pictures and it is on my friend nick's mobile phone which is amazing i think. Anyway i am going to see Up which looks like it wil be good and i hope it is and is part of my birthday even though that is gone now so i will say more later hopefully and goodbye for now :-)

Yes it is my birthday again! and it does seem like the year has gone very quick I must say. Anyway I just wanted to tell that I am having a brilliant day and I will say some more later but also I wanted to say thankyou very much to everyone for saying happy birthday to me and I am very lucky I think and glad to have all my friends :¬)

My friend Helen has been waiting and waiting but the moths are just refusing to wake up and come out so she is starting to get very fed up with them and I am hoping they do not all come out just on my birthday when everyone is supposed to be paying attention to me! They was supposed to be asleep for two weeks but it is already nearly a month now and my friend Nick has dug them up for a look and they are alright because they can still wiggle about so he knows they are alive and well but they just will not be moths and are staying as big red beans instead that look like they are made of wood until they move a bit

and my friend Helen says it is a little bit creepy when they do that but anyway she has written a poem about it and I said I would put it on my blog and so here it is

Oh dear what shall we do
The moths are asleeping and haven't a clue
That we are awaiting and haven't a view
Out of the front room that's turned into a zoo

They blissfully sleep on and just wriggle a bit
And if they don't hatch before xmas we'll all have a fit
Cos the front rooms for winter all cosy and warm
But the moths keep on sleeping and will not be born

and the reason we cannot see out of the front room windows no more or sit in there or anything is because my friend Nick has put up a big tent thing which is made of sticks which are something called bamboo and all covered in some special net that my friend Helen bought because she thought that they would be flying about by now and that does take up all the room and so I will say "hurry up now moths" as well!

Lots of lovely gold has been found and I wish that I had found that treasure and I have often thought that I would like one of these metal detector things that they talk about because finding gold would be very useful I reckon and maybe we could get one and my friend Nick could make me a special chair on it so I could ride on it while he held it and pointed it where I tell him so I would be supervising :¬)

The other week my friend Nick was telling me about a story that he had read that there was going to be a new Pirates film called On Stranger Tides and Johnny Depp was going to be Captain Jack Sparrow again and so I got all excited about that but now it has all gone wrong already before it has even started because someone got the sack from the people that make it apparently and so now Johnny Depp is not so keen after all and I do not think there would be any point if he was not in it (although I would probably still want to see it just because I like pirate films). So anyway that was not a good start to the day but just in case I will say please please please do make the film Johnny Depp if you are reading this and I am sure that they will still try and make it a nice time for you so thankyou very much if you do :¬)

I am sure I do remember that last year I was saying at about this time "oh dear the postyman is on strike and it is a worry because it is my birthday soon" and it seems like the same thing is happening all over again but a bit earlier because my friend Helen's birthday is on Sunday and all the presents that me and my friend Nick have got her was supposed to be coming in the post and I am very very worried that they will not arrive even though they was ordered ages ago now. Last time my friend Helen said to me that birthdays is allowed to go on all month if there is a problem so we might have to do that and spread it out but I do not think it is as good though.

All of my friend Helen's caterpillers have gone to sleep now and we are waiting for them to finish being pupae which sounds like they are little dogs but it is what they are called apparently and not like the butterflies which was called a chrysalis. They got very very fat in the end and was as long as a finger

and it is amazing when you do remember that they was just little yellow dots when we did first get them!

Anyway they have all changed now and are in some dirt because that is what they like to do and they stop eating and wander round and round and round for hours and hours and some of them did wear a track all round the edge of their tub but in the end they all do this

and they dig so quickly the pictures was a bit blurry so I am sorry for that. Before they went my friend Nick also did this picture because they have all got a pattern on their backs that looks like dots and dashes

and he was wondering if anyone knows the Morse Code because it is dots and dashes as well so we was wondering if they was trying to tell us anything and maybe it was the instructions and it says "please feed me lots of leaves" or "My name is Shtumpy please return me to..." and then our address in case they are lost.

Unfortunately it is a bit cold and horrid out now and they have missed summer so my friend Nick has got to make a special house for them to fly about in out of bamboo sticks and special netting (if it does arrive in time in the post!) so we will not be going in the front room to watch telly or anything for a while and also there are no flowers left now so my friend Nick has made a fake one for them with tubes coming out that can have honey and water in and they must learn to have a drink from that when they come out.

Last night me and my friend Nick was watching a programme on the telly that he had taped which is called The Gadget Show and they had some websites that was useless and one of them was called Google Fights where you put two words in and then they have a fight to see which one is more popular and he straight away went on his laptop and put in his name and my friend Helen's and he won that so he was pleased. Then he put in my name and "crow" and I won that one too so I was happy but if you do it be careful you do not get annoyed like my friend Helen will I reckon when she finds out :¬D

Since I have not done any posts for a while I thought I would do one of these to pass the time a bit and I think it has come out just about right for me anyway :¬)

My friend Helen is coming home today and she has been away for most of the weeks o I am very pleased about that. She has been visiting her friend Jacqui who is my friend too in a place that is called Bristol because Jacqui's mummy is not well at all and is in hospital so she is very sad at the moment. I am glad that my friend Helen will be back soon I have been missing her very much but she says that she has been seeing rabbits everywhere while she has been there and that it is probably my way of keeping a Bun-eye on her - well I am not going to say anything about that and whether it is true or not because that is my secret! She reckons that when they went to visit her friend Jacqui's dad's grave which is where he lives now since he died that nobody can put flowers on the graves any more because the rabbits come and they do eat them so I said that they should think of it like a special honour and instead of flowers they should take carrots and lettuce and stuff because some rabbits do like lettuce and that would be a nice treat and better for them than flowers which might give them indigestion.

Anyway I am looking forward to her coming home and so I will say that I hope that she will drive very carefully and not like my friend Nick who thinks he is a racing driver.

So the other day I went out with my friend Helen and my friend Nick because we had booked some tickets a long time ago to go and see the dinosaurs and I helped to pay for them with my own money as well! I decided to wear my leather waistcoat which is normally for cowboys but is also for hunting fossils and also I put on my necklace that is made of teeth and is for prehistoric stuff but I did not wear a hat in case it got blowed away on the river....

...yes, for an extra treat and because my friend Helen said it would be easier to get there we went on the train half way and then we went down to where there was a big river which is called The Thames and we were going to go on a boat the rest of the way. Now although I am very keen on pirates I do not like the idea of water very much and so I was a bit worried but anyway I was looking forward to it and I was very excited too but we was a bit early when we got to the wharf which I thought was a bloke from Star Trek but it turns out that it is what it is called where a boat does stop as well so anyway because we was early we had a walk along and looked at all the people who was painted silver and doing standing still as well as some bands playing music and dancers and other things which I really liked although my friend Helen said it reminded her of Hamsterdam from The Wire which we have been watching on the telly.

So then it got time to go on the boat at last and my friend Nick held onto me very tight so there was no danger of me falling in the water and I was grateful for that and I held onto Mister Carrot very tight too so he was not in danger. Here is some pictures from the trip first from where we started which is next to the London Eye that is like a big slow wheel thing

then we went under a bridge where the trains go over

We was very lucky because it was lovely and sunny and perfect weather for a boat trip and it was not going up and down too much but of course I am a very good sailor anyway and did not mind the rocking about.

There was lots to see as we went along with all the buildings and things and also birds that like to sit on the water and other boats going past and then later on we went near where I visited before and is called The Tower Of London and we tried to take another picture but it was hid by trees but also there is this big battleship there as well which my friend Nick says is called "HMS Belfast" and HMS stands for "Her Majesty's Ship" which means it does belong to The Queen although I do not think that she uses it any more. Then there was another bridge right next to it which is called Tower Bridge and it can go up and down to let the boats under but we was only short so we did not need that.

Later on we went past this boat which looks like it is from a cowboy film!

and also this place that looks like a palace and my friend Helen says is called Greenwich but it is said like Grennich for some reason but anyway it looked very nice and I said we might visit there on another day and she said yes.

After that the boat got a lot faster and we raced along and it was not very much longer before we saw where we was going and it is called The Dome although it looked like a big tent to me

but as we got off the boat and went nearer it was certainly very very big! When we got inside we went up some stairs with lots and lots of other people all going the same way and inside there was so many seats but we found our ones and me and Mister Carrot had a really good view

but after this I have not got any pictures because they said we was going back millions of years to before cameras was invented and so they was not allowed although other people did look like they was doing pictures anyway. All of the lights go off and although there was lots of children talking and playing with silly lighty things it did not matter because it is so exciting when first of all just a man comes out and then some huge big dinosaurs come out next to him and run around and roar and everything! There was some rocks in the middle that moved around on their own and the man said that was called continental drift and then there was some plants that come up as well all by themselves and then the dinosaurs had some fights and some had armour and some had long long necks and other ones had horns and also there was a flying one and finally a great big one that was a Tyrannosaurus Rex and it was so great I was really really pleased we did come!

My friend Nick has found some videos that someone else has done to show what it was like and it was just like this so I must warn you do not watch it if you do not want to see because you might go and see the show for yourself or it might spoil it but you can see that it was BRILLIANT! You can see how big the dinosaurs was because of how small the little man is next to it and these was not the best ones but that will keep the best bits for a surprise if you go and see them I reckon.

After it was finished we went to where we got back on the boat to go home but by the time we did set off the nice sun had gone in and it was starting to rain. Luckily my friend Helen had brought her little umbrella with her for us to stay under but I was still a bit worried I might get some wet on me so my friend Helen found a special waterproof bag that she had brought with her as well and my friend Nick helped make it into a rain cape for me and it was so good that my friend Helen says she is going to make me a proper one just like it later on although I still prefer staying indoors when it is rainy :¬)

So that was my day out and I had a lovely time and if you can go and see the dinosaurs I would say it is well worth it and also I think I will try to have another boat trip soon because that was so much fun as well!
