My friend Helen has been doing all sorts of courses lately which means that she goes off to learn different things and she has got some more coming up soon that are one of her favourites which is jewellery and mainly silver stuff. So she is also doing stuff for herself at home as practice and that means yesterday she was cutting out stuff with a little saw and today she has been doing lots of hammering with her little hammer and because it is very hot today and I have got the doors in my room open into the garden and she is working in the kitchen it is like it is happening right outside and it is making me a bit fed up but it would be alright if she was making something for me though and hopefully that will be next.

Well yes maybe I suppose but it is just a shame that there must be hammering is all unless it is for me because then it would not be so annoying but tomorrow she is going to do the hammering in the front room with the door closed so everyone will be happy!

I quite fancy making stained glass, but that would be hot work as well. Perhaps she could make you a real silver marshall's badge for your cowboy outfit.

Actually I have got one of them and it was a present for Bunmas or my birthday I cannot remember now but it is really good and has got five points on it and says "BUN" in cowboy writing instead of sheriff or marshall because they was too long and it is one of my favourites. I will look and see if there is a picture :¬)

yes here it is again!

Stained glass always looks very interesting and I do not think it is too difficult neither because my friend Helen's brothers can do it although they have got lots of tools and things on their farm. I think that you should definitely have a try of it and if you do I do not mind if you want to put rabbits in the picture or carrots :¬D-

That is nice.
I have a marshall's badge that I bought in Tombstone, Arizona, where there were lots of cowboy adventures.-

I am planning to find a stained glass workshop thing for the winter when the weather is rubbish and I have to stay indoors more. I shall certainly have rabbits, though they may be a bit abstract.

That is a good idea to do it in the winter because it is definitely too hot for doing things at the moment.

You are very lucky and I wish I could go and visit the cowboys!

At the moment my friend Helen is doing a sort of badge thing that she says is called a brooch that has got a pin on the back to put it on her clothes and it is a picture of me and Mister Carrot in space that is etching which is what she is practicing most at the moment and is to do with acid or something but anyway it is for her to wear and not for me because that would be silly to wear a picture of yourself I suppose and also I do not really like things that have got pins on in case they do stick in me. I do not mind that it is for her because it will still remind her of me and I am sure I will get some more good treasure soon.

I have a friend who makes jewellery too. She hammers silver and also does enamelling which is quite difficult as you have to be careful or the silver melts too much and turns into a globule!

Oh dear I am not sure that I like the sound of globules. I hope I do not get any of those although if they are made of silver I might still like them :¬)

Hopefully the hot weather is over by now. It's quite warm over here (30 degrees in the shade)and I know I would not like it if someone in my household was hammering away in the heat. Fortunately we are all too lazy for anything like that.

Well really I reckon we could do with it being nice again for a bit because it has been very odd lately with both the sun and the rain happening every ten minutes which makes it hard to know what to do and it has made us all a bit loopy I think.

Nice to see you are still there, even if not blogging, Bun. Thought the dreaded hammer might have done you a mischief!

No I have been having a little rest from doing my blog but I will do some more soon I promise it!

But Bunny, she makes lots of stuff for you. Maybe for a change she deserves to make something beautiful for herself.
