I am bun

As a rule I am all in favour of presents especially if they are for me but my friend Helen's mum has got her a present and she is very excited but I am not so sure. It is a special house for hatching out butterflies and things and it has got a website that you can buy all the eggs of all different ones from and the right food for them to grow into caterpillers and then into butterflies and that is all ok except my friend Helen has done nothing but complain about the caterpillers that are eating all her plants in the garden! My friend Nick says it will probably turn out like this

but I hope it does not because parakeets is bad enough :¬D

There is the FA Cup for football on telly at the moment and they have just said it is forty one degrees in the sunshine which is very hot indeed! They showed a picture of the crowds and they were all sitting in the sun on one side and so I hope they did think to put lots of suncream on because I have not spotted any sunhats and they are looking really really red already :¬D

My friend Helen asked who I will support and so I have said that I will support Everton because they did beat my team to get to the final and also they are the underdog or maybe the under-rabbit which is always good to give a cheer on I think but they are doing quite well so far even without my help.

My friend Helen's mum is going to come and stay for a couple of days and it is a bit tricky because we have got only a very small house that is just big enough for us and no more so my friend Nick will sleep in the front room on the floor and my friend Helen will share our bed with her mum. We have got a new foamy mattress thing because the airy bed got a leak and I reckon I might have to sleep with my friend Nick too just in case there is no room in our proper bed and he has said that my friend Helen must sleep on his side of the bed because he does not want "old lady smell" on it and also my friend Helen is not allowed to wear any of her creams because he says he does not want her to "grease up his side of the sheets". He is very picky even more than I am but at least I will be able to sit up late and watch telly which we will also have to record probably the Britain's Got Talent that I have been watching because my friend Helen's mum will most likely want to talk with her. I think it is a bit easier when she goes and visits her mum at her own house but at least it is supposed to be going to be sunny so we have got the garden that they can all sit in :¬)

A few things have happened lately.

My friend Nick and my friend Helen was going somewhere in a hurry in Little Van and then when he started off my friend Nick saw he had got a puncture which means the tyre goes all flat because the air has come out and so he had to change it and lucky he had a spare which had some air in it! Then he took the old one up to the garage and put some air in and it turned out it was alright but had just gone flat. My friend Helen thought that someone had just let the air out on purpose which would be mean although my friend Nick thought it might have just rubbed on the kerb and happened by accident so anyway he changed it back for the old one again and somehow when he did that he hurt his back a bit and was moaning about it for days after.

On one of the days that was not too rainy or sunny (I cannot remember but I think it was on a wednesday) all of us went to The Clapham Picture House again and saw the Star Trek film which I have been watching some of them series on telly and the film was really really good and even my friend Helen liked it and she is quite hard to please about that sort of thing because she really likes the old fashioned series and so it is Three Paws Up from me on that one!

Yesterday there was a bit of excitement in the street and my friend Helen spotted it was going on and so she came and got me and we watched out of the window and what happened was a man caught another man trying to steal his bicycle and so he had to grab hold of him and then wait for the police so we thought it would be exciting but in the end it was not really and they just came and took him away.

That is probably all the best bits which is not much but it has been quite nice out and so everything slows down and gets more summertimey and that is OK I reckon

This year I am putting my paw down and making sure that we do have some carrots planted because last year my friend Helen could not be bothered and we missed our chance which is a shame I reckon because even if they are only little they are still the best when they just come out of the dirt. Last time we had them in a sort of big bucket thing but this time we have asked one of her brothers to make us a special carrot box to grow them in because you have got to have them high up or the nasty carroty flies come and eat them before we can and her brother phoned up this morning to say "how big did I want it?" so I just said "I would like it to be deeper than a carrot is please". My friend Nick said he could have made it but I said I did not want to wait five years for him to finish it which you might think is just being rude but it is just the truth so that cannot be rude can it?

I am here really even though I have been a bit quiet because nothing much has been going on. When the weather has been really nice we have been lazy and not done anything and then when it is miserable we do not like to go out either :¬D

My friend Helen has been away quite a bit because she went to visit with her friend Tamsin down in Plymouth and then to visit her mum and dad and brothers which is in Wiltshire and has got a dog so I could not go to either one of those and was left behind although it is just as well because Little Van played up a bit and had to be fixed again because it is a bit old but anyway my friend Nick did stay with me and keep me company.

Yesterday we did go and see the new X-Men film which I liked and has got lots of good fights and explosions as well which is always good I reckon and it is a Three Paws Up film in my opinion.

My friend Helen and my friend Nick have both been having upset tummies lately and this morning he was a bit slow running to the toilet and he left a little mark of poo behind which I was really annoyed about and especially because now he will have to change the sheet again which means I must go in the other room. Bah.

My friend Helen has gone to visit her friend Tamsin again this morning but at her work which is Up Town and she is going to try and use her photocopy thing because the shops would not let her do it with her own stuff and it is a special thing to do with her silver etching that she has been playing with which means using chemicals that eat the silver to make a pattern.

My friend Nick has done a tiny bit of paint which is not proper paint but is just called primer on the inside of The Cupboard Of Doom and then he run out of that so now he has got to go and get some more because he never gets enough of anything in the first place it seems like.

I have been watching lots of films on DVD lately and some of them was...

Kamikaze Girls...very good although also it is very strange and it is a Japanese film with writing at the bottom

Inkheart...lots of good bits but there is not enough fighting in it

Transporter 3...much more like it...lots of fighting, although I did not think it was as good as the first two films and the car chases was all funny and speeded up which was a shame and spoiled it a bit because they was brilliant in the other ones

Southland Tales...my friend Nick got this because he thought it would be good because it was by the same man what did another film he liked that is called Donnie Darko that I have not seen but anyway this one was rubbish and I cannot say it is any good at all even though there was some explosions

I hope the sunny weather is going to come back again soon and also I think I will try and write some more things in my blog for a bit becasue my friend Helen says I have been neglecting it which means not paying enough attention and I know that I do not like it when people do not pay enough attention to me so it is only fair.
