Yesterday did not go quite as we had planned it in the end and I will explain why. My friend Nick has had a bit of a coldy as you know but we thought he was all better so we was going off to this place called The British Museum where lots of treasure is stored that the Country has robbed over the years from other countries as loot and then we was going to make a day of it by going to see the film I could not see on my birthday last week. Well when we was getting on the train my friend Nick had a bit of a funny dizzy spell that made him wobble about but we thought it was alright because he said oh it has passed now it will be fine and so we carried on to the museum but it kept coming back. Still he said "oh it will be alright let's carry on because I do not want to spoil your day out Bun" and so we had a look at some Egypt stuff that was all statues and things from Mummy tombs and I spotted this writing which is called Heiroglyphs and is pictures that mean words and you can see that they are saying something all about rabbits!

Unfortunately that must have been some sort of rabbit curse because when we went upstairs to see the actual mummies my friend Nick said he had to sit down because the room was going round and round and he was feeling sicky and that me and my friend Helen should have a look round without him for a bit. So we had a look at some stuff which was gold and necklaces and things and when we went back to see how he was he was lying down and saying he could not get up without feeling sick. My friend Helen was very worried so she went to find a guard and ask if there was a doctor and there was nobody to be seen so she asked the lady in the gift shop who ran to where there was a man who was a guard and also did First Aid which is like a doctor but just for helping when someone is first ill and he ran back up three flights of stairs to where my friend Nick was lying down and we had to run after him very fast and my friend Helen was in a state from that I can tell you because she has got asthma which makes her wheezy and she has to have a inhaler which makes it better. Actually we think the guard quite liked it because he was allowed to knock everyone out of the way when he was running. The man was very nice and he held my friend Nick's hand so he could see what his pulse was and he told another guard that had come over it was OK and that my friend Nick was not just a tramp having a sleep like he had thought but was a ill person. Then because he could not get up at all they called for an ambulance and then they had to spend quite a long time stopping all the people who are called tourists from standing around and taking pictures. After a while another man turned up who was not a ambulance but was a sort of ambulance on a bicycle and he had more stuff with wires and things so he could do some tests and he had a thing like a balloon that went on his arm and he pricked my friend Nick's finger and my friend Nick called him a naughty word for that but he did not seem to mind because he was very nice too. Then the ambulance people for real came and they put my friend Nick in a chair with a strap to stop him falling out and gave him a sort of paper hat thing to be sick in if he wanted then they wheeled him all through the museum with all the guards helping push everyone out of the way and everyone staring and thinking they was taking away a looney or something :ŽD
So we all got to have a ride in the ambulance and go to the hospital although it was only just round the corner so it was not very far and we could not have the siren on or anything because my friend Nick was already starting to feel better which is just typical of him. When we got to the hospital a lady came and pricked his finger again and he called her a naughty word too but she did not mind either and then they made him put on a funny dress and she shaved off some of his hairs and stuck sticky things to him for more wires to go on and make sure his heart was not broken and here is a picture of his chest with bits of hair missing and the funny dress

After all of that it was just something wrong with his ears they reckon because of his cold but it made a right mess of my day to the museum so we will have to go again another time.
Anyway when we came out he was feeling flipping alright again which is just like him to do that and although it was too late for the film we was going to see he had remembered that Wall-E was still on in a little cinema and so we went and saw that instead and I must say I was very glad because it is brilliant and gets Four Paws Up easy and maybe even an extra one because it was funny and sad in all the right places and there was an extra little film before that was starring a funny rabbit and a magician so that was great too!
So then we was all very tired and came home with all the Rush Hour people which is a bit horrid but we got home safe and sound and went to bed early and that was my unexpected day out which I hope we do NOT ever do again even though it was all very interesting and I wanted to say thankyou to everyone who was so very nice at the museum and the bicycle man and the ambulance and the hospital for looking after my friend.
