Well we went on our little trip to get my friend Helen's sewing machine that she bought and she is very happy with it but as trips go it was not much to talk about really. It was in a place called Northamptonshire which is alright but there was nothing much to go and look at like woods or castles or anything because my friend Nick did not think to look before we went on the map and plan out a journey so we ended up really just going there and coming back again. It is still nice to go for a drive for a change but I was very hot and bothered by the end of it and we tried to go to a place called Banbury on the way back which is in a poem with a woman and a horse but all we found was a shopping centre so my friend Nick would not carry on and got the hump a bit. Anyway I reckon I have seen quite alot of different shires and counties now which is what different places in the country are called and so I have asked my friend Nick to look them up for me and it turns out I have visited or driven through twenty one of them so far, which isn't bad :¬)

When we got back my friend Helen decidied to make a trifle which is a sort of pudding and she was using a recipe to tell her what to do that was from her friend Astrig's mum and it said "use a generous amount of sherry" which is a kind of wine I think because she put a third of a bottle in and now she has got a headache this morning.
