The other day my friend Helen went to do some shopping in town and things did not go very well.
First of all she went to a shop called Liberty's that she likes to buy some make-up for her face which is smelly stuff she wears that I do not like much because I always worry it will come off on my nice fur. Anyway when she was trying to look at the stuff they had the woman selling it decided that she would interfere and dragged her over to a big mirror in front of loads of other people and said "Don’t worry my dear I used to do the make up on Emmerdale and I’m used to working with old people. I’ll soon cover up all these wrinkles. Gosh you do have a lot don’t you?" My friend Helen is forty five which is quite old but she does not look it and she does not need someone saying that so I reckon that is why the shop is called Liberty's because it flipping was one! Unfortunately just when she was going to get annoyed and stomp out of the shop the strap on my friend Helen's bag broke and a bit rolled under the counter so she was trapped and had to look for it.
This was just the beginning though because later my friend Helen decided to go in a shop called Diesel which is really just for young people who are thin and try on some trousers to see if she could still get into the younger people’s clothes only she did not lock the door properly on the changing room and as she tried to put the trousers on she leaned back on it and it opened so she fell out in the middle of the shop with the trousers only half way up her legs and showing all the people in the shop her pants which were not her best ones either but just some baggy old ones. Then just as she got to her feet someone threw open the door of the next changing room and slammed it into her back.
She said that it was very embarrassing but me and my friend Nick thought it was very funny and laughed a lot when she told us about it and that cheered her up in the end.
